Uncle A’s Asian Spice Chicken Breast
by Anthony Solimini
Quite possibly the tastiest, moistest chicken I’ve made in a long time!
Glaze: 1/4 cup Soy sauce, 3 tablespoons honey, 2 teaspoons sesame oil, 1/4 cup water. Put all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a slow simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
Chicken Breast: Season liberally with salt and Uncle A’s Asian Spice and let sit at room temperature for about 20’
Preheat an ovenproof sauté pan, put a tablespoon of olive oil and place chicken in for 3-4 minutes, and then turn over for about 2 minutes.
Add half the glaze to the pan and 1/3 cup water. I also put a small dollop of butter on each piece of chicken l, but this is optional if you don’t want perfection! 😂
Put the pan in a 375’ preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes. (Internal temperature of about 160’)
Every five minutes baste the chicken with the glaze. If it dries up add some more water!
Remove from oven. Let sit for about 5-8 minutes. Arrive over rice or salad and drizzle with the remaining glaze!
Enjoy!
