Uncle A’s Asian Rub Sous Vide Steak

I used a filet mignon. Can also use other cuts of meat as you prefer.

Ingredients 

 

1 Filet Mignon 

Butter

Uncle A’s Asian Rub

 

Let filet get to room temperature.

Rub butter on one side of the filet

Sprinkle about two tsps of Asian Rub on the butter 

Place in a plastic bag and vacuum seal. If you don’t have a vacuum bag use a Ziploc

Set sous vide to 130’

Place in sous vide batch at 130’ for one hour

Re move steak from sous vide and either sear on a grill at high temp for two minutes each side or in a cast iron skillet  

Let set for ten minutes covered, and then enjoy!
