Nine Spice Ginger Chicken Stir Fry

Ingredients
- 1 thick filet mignon or rib eye thinly sliced.
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup Hoisin Sauce
- 2 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 tsp Uncle A’s Asian Nine Spice Seasoning
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of corn starch dissolved in 1/8 cup cold water
- 2 chopped red chili pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a very hot pan.
- Season the steak with salt and quickly stir fry for a minute. Remove beef from the wok and set aside.
- Add another tablespoon of oil to the pan and sauté the chopped garlic.
- Add all remaining ingredients to the to the pan except the cornstarch mixture and red chili peppers.
- Simmer the sauce for about 3 minutes then stir in the corn starch mixture, stirring constantly until it thickens.
- Put the cooked beef back into the sauce along with one chopped red chili peppers and cook enough to heat through.
- Serve immediately over rice or noodles and garnish with orange slices.
